Stride

Point Stride at a rig — a dog, a spider, a mech, anything with Motor6D joints — say how fast it moves, and get a looping walk cycle made for that skeleton.

Listed on the Roblox Creator Store by FATALE_N1 · full name: Stride - Walk Cycle Animation Builder for Any Rig

What you get

The planted foot does not slide, and the panel proves it by measuring the clip it has just written rather than reporting on itself.

How it holds up

Read back out of the KeyframeSequence pose by pose, after it exists: a speed asked of 6.16 measures 6.16 studs/s, foot slip while planted 0.0000 studs, loop seam 0.0000 studs, 28 keyframes, 4 of 4 feet on the floor.

What it does not do

Rig Builder makes R6 and R15 dummies. Nothing makes a walk cycle for the creature you actually built, and that gap is the whole product.

The listing, word for word

Your custom rig moves. Its feet still skate. Most walk cycles were authored for R15; a dog, spider or mech has different legs, reach and speed. Stride authors a looping cycle for the skeleton you built.

READ THE RIG. Select a Motor6D model and choose the tips that touch the floor. Stride finds each leg chain from geometry—not names—and supports 2-leg alternation, 4-leg diagonal pairs, 6-leg tripods and wave gaits.

SET THE SPEED. Stride computes what those legs can reach and refuses impossible values before writing a bad clip.

PREVIEW + CREATE. The result is a KeyframeSequence in AnimSaves, ready for Roblox's Animation Editor. No runtime script, upload or network. Preview restores every joint; Ctrl+Z removes the clip.

MEASURED AFTER CREATION: 6.00 asked → 6.00 studs/s measured, 0.0000 planted-foot slip, 0.0000 loop seam, 28 keyframes, 4/4 feet on the floor. The proof is read back from the finished clip, pose by pose.

Stop retargeting human walks. Build the gait your creature needs.
